Connecting Your Google Voice Number

Step 1: Log into Google Voice

• Access your Google Voice account.
• Navigate to the Settings page.

Step 2: Link Your Number

• Click on the 'New Linked Number' button.
• Choose the 'Verify by Phone' option.
• Enter your AI agent's phone number and click 'Call'.
• Google will call your AI agent and provide a verification code.

Step 3: Retrieve the Verification Code

• Access the transcript of the call to find the verification code.
• Use this code to complete the linking process.

Step 4: Adjust Voicemail Settings

• Go to the voicemail settings in Google Voice.
• Ensure all voicemail options are turned off.

Step 5: Check Call Forwarding Rules

• Review your call forwarding settings.
• Make sure there are no custom call forwarding rules enabled.

Step 6: Set Availability to Receive Calls

• Check the availability settings at the top of the page.
• Ensure you are not on 'Do Not Disturb' mode, as this will send calls directly to voicemail.
